Toko is Indonesian for "shop." Dylan's Oma emigrated from Indonesia to California, bringing her family with her and starting her own tailor shop from nothing. That story has always been central.
The Toko Project is named for her. The idea of building something from nothing, of showing up for people consistently, of doing honest work well, that's what the business runs on.
It's not a brand value. It's a lineage.
Dylan grew up in San Francisco and is currently a third-year student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He started The Toko Project about six months ago.
He completed a 30-day remote kayaking expedition and a 10-day silent meditation retreat. He's currently training from zero to a full marathon. He's been to Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
The short version: he does things. He doesn't just talk about them. That carries over into how he works with clients.

Kyle is Dylan's older brother and the sales partner at The Toko Project. Like Dylan, he grew up in San Francisco. He went to the University of Washington, where he developed a love for football, golf, and food.
The two brothers always wanted to build something together. The Toko Project is where that becomes real.
